Frozen Movie by Walt Disney Animation Studios

Director Chris Buck is working on Frozen, an upcoming 3D CG animated movie loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale The Snow Queen. Actress Kristen Bell will lend her voice to the lead character Anna and Idina Menzel will lend her voice to her sister the Snow Queen. The release date of Walt Disney's Frozen is set for November 27, 2013.

Take a look to the first official logo of the movie Frozen:

And here's a few concept art:

Plot:
"When Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) is cursed by her estranged sister, the cold-hearted Snow Queen Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), Anna’s only hope of reversing the curse is to survive a perilous but thrilling journey across an icy and unforgiving landscape. Joined by Kristoff, a rugged, thrill-seeking mountain man, his one-antlered reindeer and a hapless snowman, Anna must race against time, conquer the elements and battle an army of menacing snowmen if she ever hopes to melt her frozen heart."

From what I heard Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will write original songs for the film. Considering their Broadway experience, we may expect catchy and inspiring songs.
